Dyslexia assessment and written report (with or without cognitive assessment). Cognitive assessment may be required for a school-aged child, where no recent reports are available (with last 12months) or evidence can be provided that the child is consistently achieving average grades in all other subjects but struggling with literacy skills. Children scoring consistently above average (Sten 9/10) at school may require additional screening for giftedness.
